National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society are organizations in which students must have an 88.0 (NHS) or a 90.0 (NJHS) overall average to be eligible to apply for at the end of the 2nd marking period. 

Being a successful member of one of these organizations

is dependent on five areas:

Scholarship

Character

Leadership

Service

Citizenship

These organizations were created to recognize and encourage

academic achievement among middle level students while also

developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy.
