For the last two years, the Lisbon Teachers’ Association Executive Board, which meets annually in the summer to plan for the upcoming school year, provides each student at the Lisbon Central School District with a gift. This year the association chose to incorporate some of NYSUT’s LAP initiatives, by designing a T-Shirt for each student with highlighting community support and involvement.
QT Laser, a local business with close ties to our community, created t-shirts for all students and staff members featuring a design on the back letting students know that the Lisbon community “has their back,” no matter what, no matter where; once a Knight, always a Knight!
District superintendent, Patrick Farrand says, “ our school district is appreciative of the LTA’s ever-present care and concern for our students. Their support in all aspects of academic and social-emotional learning is second to none. On behalf of the Board of Education and our district Leadership Team, we thank the LTA and our community organizations for supporting the efforts of our staff to provide another thoughtful and positive experience for our students.”
